Entry & Security

People aged 16 and over can enter the festival area freely. Anyone under 16 must be under the responsibility of a parent or guardian. All guests should carry an ID or passport and show it if asked.

The purchase and consumption of alcohol by anyone under 18 is strictly prohibited.

By requesting entry, all attendees — including members of the media — are subject to a search, including examination of any bags they carry.

The organizers reserve the right at all times to deny entry to, or eject from the event, any person who in their sole and absolute discretion is in violation of the event rules.

Full-time support by our security team ensures maximum safety for all festival attendees. Undercover and non-uniformed personnel are also present at all times to monitor and control any suspicious or illegal behaviour.

Please review the prohibited items list below before you travel — following it means a quicker entry at the main gates. The Terms & Conditions authorise security to ask any attendee to leave the premises if the policy is not respected.

  • Weapons of any kind, including but not limited to pocket knives and self-defence sprays
  • Flammable items or liquids, including aerosols and fireworks

Cashless & Top-Up

ZAMNA x PRIMER is a 100% cashless event. Cashless is a contactless payment system that covers everything you spend on site — bars, food and merch.

  1. Register a secure cashless account online using your BARCODE NUMBER.
  2. Add the amount you want to load. There is no activation cost and no extra fee for topping up, before or during the event.
  3. At the festival you exchange your e-ticket for a wristband that already carries your money — skip straight to step 5.
  4. Haven't registered in advance? No problem: come back to this page and create an account, or use a top-up point (CASHIER) on site. Topping up online means avoiding the CASHIER queues.
  5. You're ready to buy — bars, food area and merch.
  6. Money left after the event? Request a refund during the refund period, 14.09 to 19.09 (23:59).

Top up online

Yes — you can top up with cash or a credit/debit card at the designated Credit Points inside the festival area. Any card issued by Mastercard, Visa or American Express is accepted.

No, but we highly recommend it. Registering lets you:

  • Top up at any time on the website or in the festival app, and avoid the queues at the on-site CASHIERS.
  • Check your spending history — and your family's, using different wallets on the same account.
  • Save your card details and top up in a couple of taps.
  • Block your wristband if you lose it.
  • Reclaim whatever you have not spent after the festival.

There is no activation cost and no extra fee for topping up, either before or during the event.

It is printed at the bottom or on the left-hand side of your ticket and is 10–14 letters and numbers long. You will find it both on your digital ticket and on the PDF ticket you received.

Important: the BARCODE NUMBER is not the BOX OFFICE NUMBER and not the ORDER NUMBER.

Scan the QR code on your wristband and top up directly. Creating an account in advance is still the smoother route, and it is the only way to block your wristband if you lose it.

Top up online

If your account is linked to the wristband, go to the information point on site and block it. You can then be issued a new wristband credited with the balance of the one you blocked.

Without an account this is not possible, because there is no unique reference number tying the balance to you.

You can request a refund from 14.09 until 19.09 (23:59). A €1.00 fee applies and is deducted from your remaining balance. Refunds are issued to a debit or credit card only, and require the 6-digit code printed on the back of your cashless wristband — so keep the wristband in any case.

If you already have a cashless account, log in through the festival website and press “Refunds”.

If you never created one, you will need to — it is quick: go to the Cashless section of the event website and register with your full name, email address, a password, the code on the back of your wristband and your card details. Then press “Refunds”.

Refunds are processed after the refund period closes on 19 September. Once processed it can take up to 7 business days to appear in your account, depending on your bank or card provider. All refunds are expected to be credited by the end of September.

If you have not received yours by then, contact us at events@candycane.gr.

The 6-digit code printed on the back of your cashless wristband is what ties the remaining balance to you. Without it there is no way to claim a refund — so keep the wristband until your money is back in your account.

If you have created a cashless account, log in to it through the festival website and press “Refunds”. Your bank account will be credited at the end of the month.

If you did not create a cashless account, you will need one in order to reclaim your balance. It is quick and easy: visit the event website, go to the Cashless section and create your account by entering:

  • Your full name
  • Email address
  • A password
  • The code that is on the back of your cashless wristband
  • Your debit/credit card information

Once logged into your account, click the “Refunds” button. Your bank account will be credited before the end of the month.
